It’s officially a week since I turned 25 and while it’s crazy to think I’m now closer to the big 3-0 than my teenage years, I’m embracing my mid-twenties state. This might be due to the fact that I’ve always been called “an old soul,” so the gif featured above really speaks to me (although I find Nick from New Girl to be one of the most insufferable sitcom characters, tbh).
December always seems to be a month of reflection. It’s a time of year to remember the highs, the lows, and everything in between. And while there has been a substantial amount of good that has happened for me in 2017, I’d be remiss to say that a part of me didn’t die a little when Bravo officially announced the cancelation of my favorite television program, Ladies of London.
It’s crazy to think 2016 came to a close last year. As we make new year resolutions and plans to accomplish over the next twelve months, I’m setting a goal to read 25 books in 2017. Between audiobooks and hard copies, I read 16 books this past year. Four of those (and one audiobook) were my absolute favorites of the year.
If the headline wasn’t self explanatory, I’ve decided to add another element to the blog and have started a new Youtube channel.
It’s safe to say that I’m a little late in reading some of these trending “girl power” books, but better late than never, right? I have a big list of books I’m itching to read and the following are a few that are at the top of my list.
